About the Race
Triathlon
The triathlon begins with a ¼â€‘mile swim off beautiful Fred Howard Beach — a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike.
After the swim, athletes head out on a 10‑mile scenic bike course along paved, closed roads that cross the Fred Howard Causeway and wind into historic Tarpon Springs. The route is fully supported by the Tarpon Springs Police Department and our incredible race volunteers.
The race finishes with a 5K run inside Fred Howard Park, bringing you back to the finish line near the transition area.

Duathlon
Prefer to stay on land? The duathlon features a classic run–bike–run format:

-
5K run
-
10‑mile bike
-
5K run

It’s a great option for athletes who want the full race‑day experience without the swim.

Aquabike
The aquabike includes the ¼â€‘mile swim followed by the 10‑mile bike.

Your official time stops when you cross the timing mat at transition. After that, you can make your way to the finish line at your own pace to collect your medal and celebrate.
This category is perfect for athletes who are unable to run due to injury or preference — and we’re thrilled to have you participate.

Post‑Race Celebration
Now for the part that makes this race truly unforgettable — the post‑race party.

Rotarians bake dozens of homemade cookies and gather food from some of the finest Greek restaurants in Tarpon Springs, home to one of the most vibrant Greek communities in the country.
